How we get to the finalized version of our guys.

Trying to find a look for the guys.  Usually try to go in a bunch of different directions to see what might fit.

Getting in the ballpark with these two.  Originally we were going to call the strip "Alien Blog"

Hey!  That guy looks familiar!

The first drawing that really looked like who would eventually become the character "FIVE".  This was the look we decided to use.

Decided to go for a variation on the classic "GRAY".  Originally thought they might live with/hang out with an Earth kid.

There's the name!

We got the name, finally.  Also decided, we would change the two main characters, instead of having them look identical.  That way you have two distict characters.

Clothing makes the man.

We put the characters in their version of Earth attire to more differentiate them from each other more.  Like a tie will help you blend in.
